She is a qualified Chartered Secretary and an associate member with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators, Ireland. In addition, Lisa is a qualified accountant with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Ireland. She has a first-class honours degree in Law & Accounting from the University of Limerick, Ireland.

Lisa has ten years’ experience in the field of corporate governance and compliance. Within this period, Lisa gained a number of years experience with CASL, acting for various clients with respect to the incorporation and ongoing administration of exempt insurance and reinsurance companies and professional services firms in Bermuda. Prior to joining CASL, Lisa trained and worked in “big four” audit firms and gained in-house experience working with a large multi-national insurance company in Ireland where she worked closely with the Head of Legal. Lisa has experience providing company secretarial support on a range of company projects, including M&A projects and legal/tax/finance re-structuring projects. Lisa has expertise in convening and attending client board, shareholder and committee meetings as minute-taker and drafting the minutes of same in a timely fashion for circulation to the relevant parties. Lisa is proficient in liasing with a range of different parties on corporate transactions including the Board, Risk, Procurement, Finance/Tax, Commercial, Underwriting and HR.
Lisa works closely with clients to ensure strict compliance with all the challenging aspects of company law and that the required statutory and regulatory standards of corporate governance are adhered to.
