Kehinde is one of the founding partners of ASW Law, and has practised as a Barrister and Attorney in Bermuda since 1996. Prior to this, Kehinde practised as a solicitor in England for ten years: three years as a corporate/commercial solicitor at both Stephenson Harwood and Turner Kenneth Brown; and four years for the UK government’s Department of Trade & Industry, advising on insolvency law and policy.

She has advised liquidators, provisional liquidators, creditors, shareholders and regulators, in relation to numerous local and cross-border insolvencies and restructurings and schemes of arrangement. These include The Bermuda Fire & Marine Insurance Company Ltd, the Global Crossing Group, Northern Offshore Ltd, PEG Reinsurance Company Ltd, Hatteras Reinsurance Ltd, Saad Investments Company Ltd, Singularis Holdings Ltd, PDV Insurance Company Ltd, Noble Group Ltd and Seadrill Ltd, to name just some.
Kehinde is ranked in all of the major independent legal directories. She is heralded a ‘global leader’ in insolvency, restructuring and re/insurance by Who’s Who Legal.
Kehinde has acted as an expert witness on Bermuda law in foreign jurisdictions and courts. She is listed in the Euromoney Expert Guide to the World’s Leading Insolvency and Restructuring Lawyers (www.expertguides.com).
Kehinde is a member of the Bermuda Bar Council and of the executive committee of the Restructuring and Insolvency Specialist Association, Bermuda branch.
